Advanced Fabric for Clothes

The clothes we wear every day are usually made up of cotton, polyester, nylon, cashmere, silk, and other standard cloths. But with the advancement of technology, there are now clothes made of fabric that does more than cover you or make you look good. For example, there is a company that is making high-tech warmth-retaining fabric for parkas and winter jackets. This material is warm, durable, and breathable. However, it is less bulky than fur, wool, or quilted cloth padding that is used in ordinary parkas.

Another kind of fabric used especially in high-end exercise clothes is one that wicks sweat away from your body rather than absorb it like cotton does. The material allows the moisture to transfer to the fabric’s outer surface where it evaporates in the sun and wind. Thus, this material helps keep you comfortable and dry. Finally, there is another kind of advanced fabric used for active wear and hosiery. The material contains triclosan compound, which is an antibacterial agent. This inhibits the growth of fungi, bacteria, and yeast. Furthermore, the triclosan will not dissolve even with frequent or vigorous washing.
