Wearing fashionable clothes tend to make women strive to achieve a slimmer body. Others, however, simply force themselves to fit in the dress even if it would suffocate them.

But did you know that wearing tight clothes can have an adverse effect on your health? Wearing a snug pair of jeans for example can actually cause problems to your nerves, which is also known as the tingling thigh syndrome. You would probably know you are suffering from it if you feel a stinging sensation in your, well, thigh. It could cause back pains as well if it has a low-riding style.

Wearing a corset can also cause some health problems. Although it would give you a more defined waistline and curves, it can actually cause you to faint. This is because it restricts your lungs from expanding fully and decreases your oxygen intake. Also, it can cause heartburn due to the tight pressure against your stomach. But if you really want to put on a corset, then remember to eat smaller meals while you are wearing it. Or you can just have mercy on yourself and loosen it a bit.

You could also opt for better alternatives than wearing tight-fitting clothes just to look fabulous. You can start the habit of living a healthier lifestyle by eating nutritious foods and getting enough exercise. Sure these take time and could test your patience before showing results. But when done right, not only will you gain better health but would look and feel great as well.
