Plants and Fashion

Most plants are used for the different aspects in fashion. The fibres of flax plant, for example, are used to make linens, which is ideal for clothing during the hot season. Aside from flax, cotton is considered the principal plant used for clothing purposes. Another fibre, rayon, comes from the cell walls of plants, so it is technically natural.

Plants are sources of a multitude of things, such as furniture, food, and clothing, among others. This is why a lot of farms are developed to cater to this growing commercial industry. Manufacturers from all over the world benefit greatly from agricultural operation since without the production of fibrous plants, making it possible to produces different kinds of fabrics.
